Following requests from prospective applicants, the deadline to submit applications for the UK-China Joint Research and Innovation Partnership Fund(Newton Fund) PhD placement programme has been extended for UK applicants.

The deadline is now 23:59 pm GMT on 24 October 2015. PhD students who intend to apply for the programme are kindly requested to complete their application according to the instructions in the attached Call Guidelines. Please note, the extended deadline applies to UK applicants only.

UK applicants should complete an online application form at laihua.csc.edu.cn and send it, along with the required supporting documents, to newtonfundchina@britishcouncil.org.cn by the extended deadline. Any enquiries can also be sent to this email address.
