The British Council is working in partnership with existing student recruitment fairs in Canada to add value for UK universities.  We are pleased to offer an opportunity for your institution to be represented by EducationUK staff on the British Council / EducationUK booth at student recruitment fairs across the country. 

This is a great way to raise your institution’s profile and collect contact details for interested Canadian students, even if you are not able to attend any, or all of, the fairs in person!

Below you will find details of three separate packages for representation at the Recruit in Canada Spring 2014 Fair.

What: Recruit in Canada, known to visitors as Study and Go Abroad, is the largest international university expo in Canada. Reach potential students in Canada for both your undergraduate and post-graduate programmes.  Visitors attend for information on higher education as well as academic and personal development.  For full details on the fairs, and details about how to register to attend in person, please visit www.RecruitinCanada.com.

Who: The fairs are held in four key urban centres across Canada and are well-attended by motivated and eligible students, young adults, and professionals.

When and where: The Spring 2014 fair circuit will take place in Vancouver (February 26), Ottawa (February 28), Montreal (March 1), and Toronto (March 2).

The intent of the EducationUK booth package is to:

• Highlight the specific merits of the (maximum of six!) institutions represented on the booth to a highly targeted audience;
• Collect contact details from students interested in a represented institution and provide these details to the institution.

Allow your institution to gain exposure in the Canadian market without having to attend the fairs, saving you travel and accommodation costs, and time.
Includes:

• Representation on the EducationUK booth at Recruit in Canada fairs in Canadian cities.
• Promotional listing in Education UK Canada Newsletter.
• Social media promotion on British Council Canada’s Facebook and Twitter avenues.

Requirements:

• Maximum four copies of your prospectus for display on the booth.
• PDF of 1 page flyer (we will print out copies for distribution)
• Information on your programmes of study for a subject-matrix, which will be made available to visitors.
• 1 page briefing for EducationUK staff representing your institution.
• Optional 1 promotional items e.g. pen, flash drive (nothing too big, please)
