Promote your postgraduate courses in language assessment at the New Directions in Language Assessment Conference in Yokohama

The British Council is offering to promote UK universities’ postgraduate courses in language assessment at its ‘New Directions in Language Assessment’ conference in Yokohama, Japan.

This year’s New Directions is the 7th annual conference in East Asia and takes place in Yokohama on December 8th and 9th 2019. The conference focuses on the role that language assessment plays in education in the East Asia region, bringing together academics, educational practitioners, and policy makers from around the region and the wider world.

Requirements

This opportunity is open to UK universities offering post-graduate courses in language assessment, or post-graduate courses in TESOL (or related) with a language assessment component.

There are a limited number of places available. Should demand exceed supply, priority will be given to:

  • Institutions offering courses specifically in language assessment.
  • Institutions offering TESOL (or related) courses with a prominent and/or distinct language assessment component.
  • Institutions with a strong track record of published research in language assessment.
