Promote your institution through education agents in China

Looking to promote your institution’s offering to students in China? Look no further than the British Council’s agent promotional services.

Background

Agents play an important role in guiding students through their decision-making process. In China, around 60 per cent of students use education agents for their overseas study applications, according to the British Council’s recent Student Insight Survey, making them the frontline ‘sales representatives’ for UK education.

The British Council works closely with education agents in China, supporting them through training workshops and keeping them informed of developments in the UK using a half-yearly e-newsletter and social media platforms such as WeChat, currently the most popular social media platform in China.

Opportunity

These channels are also available to UK institutions wishing to expand their promotional activity in China. The British Council offers the following services:

Service Fee
agent e-newsletter: £500 per issue (one page or one listing)
agent WeChat: £400 per post

As the final issue of this year’s agent newsletter series will be published in December 2015, for a limited time only we are offering UK institutions a special Agent Promotional Package, which includes both of the above services at a discounted rate of £500.
