Private University in Chile seeks UK partners for exchange programme

Universidad Andrés Bello - UNAB, located in Chile is looking for a UK partner to create a student exchange programme. The programme would initially involve a 1 to 1 exchange of undergraduate students during a semester in any programme, with the aim of potentially building this into a greater partnership scheme. The university’s top faculty is their Business school, but UNAB is interested in covering different subject areas.

Brief introduction to UNAB

The Andrés Bello National University (UNAB) was created in 1988 and is spread across three campuses in three areas: Santiago, the capital of Chile, the coastal city of Viña del Mar and the southern city of Concepción.

Students can choose to study undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture and design, business administration, communication, ecology and natural resources, education, engineering and information technology, health sciences, hospitality, human sciences, law and maritime studies. There are health, legal, dental and psychology clinics for all affiliated staff and students.

It is a member of the Laureate International Universities group, the largest global network of private degree-granting higher education institutions. There are over 42,000 students enrolled in the university, (39,000 undergraduate, 3,000 graduate) and over 4,600 faculty members.
