Pre-departure Briefing 2019 in China
In June, the British Council will be hosting Pre-Departure Briefings across eight cities in China for students planning to study in the UK from autumn 2019. This will be a great opportunity for your incoming students to gain advice on their final preparations before flying out to the UK. The eight cities are Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Wuhan.

Students will receive advice on how to prepare for studying in the UK and mental health and well-being while undertaking studies abroad. The audience will also hear from UK alumni themselves about their personal experience of studying in the UK, followed by networking sessions for participants to get to know one another. Representatives from the UK Visas and Immigration section of the British Embassy will also be participating to provide information on visa applications.
