The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) is a member of Vietnam National University (VNU) in HCMC and has a rich history of establishment and growth since its foundation in 1955.

The university has about 22,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students in 28 undergraduate programs, 38 postgraduate programs and over 10 joint programs in collaboration with international partners. 

USSH has a target to become a research university ranked among the top universities in the Southeast Asian region by 2020.
