OSTIM Technical University in Turkey is interested in making bilateral agreements with interested UK universities, with a view to establishing staff and sutdent exchanges and new transnational education programmes, such as duel degree programmes.

Collaborations could focus on student exchange, academic faculty (scholars) exchange, recognition of approved courses and credits, exchange of academic information and materials, organisation of academic study programmes, organisation of joint research programmes and joint conferences, workshops and symposia.

Fields of interest could include entrepreneurship, IP, IT, AI, admiralty and aviation law, aircraft law, maritime law and financial law. The university is also interested in data science and artificial intelligence in the fields of autism treatment and stealth drones.

Founded in 2017, OSTIM Technical University has signed 52 Memorandum of Understanding agreements in 29 countries.

It has a vision of becoming the 'university of industry', in strong co-operation with business, industry and society.

OSTIM Technical University was established in accordance with the Article of Law no.6005 in July 2017.

Located in Ankara, it has three faculties, and two institutes – the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences and the Institute of Social Sciences – with a total undergraduate enrolment of 5,313. Total enrolment in master's level programmes is 244, with ten different master's degree programmes.

The total number of academic staff is 179, comprised of 31 professors, 11 associate professors and 68 assistant professors, as well as senior lecturers, lecturers and research assistants.
