Paid British Council Internships in Marketing & Communications
The British Council is recruiting Marketing and Communications Interns in New York City. Please let your students/relevant departments know.
The British Council is offering two six-month internships to work with the education marketing team on three British Council projects supporting UK universities’, schools’ and colleges’ international marketing efforts in the USA:
- GREAT campaign: encouraging US students to study in the UK
- EducationUK: website for students interested in study in the UK
- Services for International Education Marketing (SIEM): digital marketing services for UK schools
The intern will gain demonstrable skills and experience in:
- Event marketing
- Social media and digital marketing
- Market research
- Copywriting and editing
- International education
Interns can work 20 hours per week and will be paid $10 per hour. They may be able to extend the post up to a maximum of one year. Recent graduates or graduate level students with backgrounds in Marketing, Communications or Business are preferred. Applicants should be able to demonstrate an interest in international education – a transformative study abroad experience would count!
