Opportunity to recruit students in marine related subjects - Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Affairs supported event

An opportunity has arisen for universities with programme offerings in the areas of environmental science, life and physical science, engineering and technology, hospitality and tourism, culinary arts, environmental development, logistic management and fisheries and marine science to potentially recruit scholarship students of the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Affairs.

JURUSANKU is collaborating with the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Affairs (KKP) of Indonesia to hold an event including education exhibition, workshops, presentations, talk show, and photo competition with the theme of “What’s Up with the Sea”. Please find attached the event proposal.

JURUSANKU is an Indonesian company providing information on university majors, career paths, and employment trends for Indonesians only. They prepare the young generation to face 21st Century challenges, by choosing the right majors and giving training on 21st Century skills. Through this event, Jurusanku and KKP want to disseminate information on the richness and opportunities in Indonesian fisheries and maritime sectors. In addition, KKP has an overseas postgraduate scholarships programme for their staffs.

On Friday, 28 October 2016 – Saturday, 29 October 2016, Jurusanku has 2 available booths for UK Universities at a special price of £1,500/booth. Each booth can accomodate with maximum of 3 UK Universities.

(British Council Indonesia has been collaborating with Jurusanku for several events, such as the Education UK Exhibition in March 2016)
