An opportunity to provide training on UK Professional Standards Framework to academic staff in Thailand

Mahidol University is aiming to adopt the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) across the university and as such is looking for a UK institution(s) to help develop their staff in this area.

They would like the development to cover (but not be limited to):

  • understanding of the UKPSF criteria
  • assessment processes
  • development and training of academic staff

The training workshop(s) can be either online or on site, and Mahidol University has budget available to cover relevant expenses.

The university has already adopted Baldridge criteria and AUN-QA criteria framework.

Responsibilities of the UK trainer :
The UK trainer is expected to provide training for Mahidol University staff on how to assess academic staffs' performance according to UKPSF guidelines (training assessors) as well as hosting workshops to understand the UKPSF criteria.

Benefits to the UK trainer :
Aside from the operating budget for this training, Mahidol University is open for other potential collaboration that may arise, including both research and academic areas. Currently, Mahidol University has several official active collaborative MOUs with UK universities.

About Mahidol University :

Mahidol University is the number one ranked university in Thailand with subjects focussed across three core academic areas: Health Sciences, Science & Technology and Social Sciences & Humanities. Mahidol specialises in Medicine, directly running two faculties of Medicine, producing around 850 medical doctors annually.
