Opportunities for Partnerships in Brunei

The British Council East Asia is launching the UK-Brunei Higher Education Teaching and Learning Partnership Project. The Project is funded by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) through ASEAN Dialogue Partner Grant. It will build and strengthen higher education partnership in teaching and learning between Brunei and UK universities.

We are opening calls for UK Consultant and UK universities to join the Project. Please see the details of the opportunities below:

 

Call for proposals for Consultant for UK-Brunei Higher Education Teaching and Learning Partnership

The British Council invites requests for proposals from experts with experience and specialism in internationalisation and teaching and learning at higher education institutions to work on the UK-Brunei Higher Education Teaching and Learning Partnership.

The consultant will support Brunei universities in strengthening their internationalisation strategy and academic partnership on specific subjects aligning to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as but not limited to the development of transnational education (TNE) or joint or double/dual degree programmes, credit sharing programme (aligned to the UK's Turing Scheme).

Call for participation in UK-Brunei Higher Education Teaching and Learning Partnership Project

The British Council invites UK and Brunei universities to participate in the UK-Brunei Higher Education Teaching and Learning Partnership Project. The Project is designed to enable UK-Brunei higher education collaboration, enhance internationalisation, and strengthen institutional partnerships through sharing knowledge and principles of good practice.

Opportunities will be offered for UK and Brunei universities to engage and collaborate for greater internationalisation of both institutions and develop academic partnerships such as:

  • transnational education (TNE)
  • joint or double/dual degree programmes
  • credit sharing programme on specific subjects aligning to SDGs.
