Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) is looking for UK partners to develop and deliver 3+1 undergraduate programmes or 1+1+0.5 postgraduate programmes with single or double degrees in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biology Medicine or Biotechnology, with the goal of recruiting up to 50 students per year.

This is an opportunity for the selected UK partners to establish long-term partnerships with one of the top engineering universities in China, with potential for expansion into other fields, such as student and faculty exchange programmes or joint research. With strong relationship between both universities, NPU will deliver customised admission webinars for UK partners and send students to UK for further education.

Areas of responsibility for the two collaborating parties

The selected UK partners will be expected to work with NPU to:

• develop the curricula for the joint programmes
• provide support in the quality assurance of the programmes
• issue bachelor/master/ Ph.D degree to students

NPU will be responsible for:

• promoting and recruiting students for the programmes
• providing qualified teaching staff as well as the required teaching premises and logistical support for the joint programmes
• supporting prospective students in preparing to study in the UK as part of the programmes
