NISAU UK’s (National Indian Students and Alumni Union UK) India UK Achievers programme is now entering its third year in 2025. This prestigious initiative, first launched in 2022-2023, celebrates the accomplishments of UK alumni in India and globally while positioning the UK as the destination of choice for Indian students. It is supported by the Department for Business and Trade, Universities UK International, Chevening, London Higher and the UK Council for International Student Affairs. 

The British Council is supporting the India UK Achievers Honours and the Achievers Dialogues.

An overview of the Achievers Honours, the Achievers Dialogues - Study in UK India promotional tour and the India UK Education Conference are provided below. Details can be found at achieveersshowcase.com. 

1. Student and Alumni Awards – the India UK Achievers Honours are open to alumni, current students and student societies to apply across multiple categories. Finalists will be shortlisted per category and invited to attend the gala celebrations in London, including at the UK Parliament, where winners and highly commended finalists will be announced. Nominations open 4 November. 

2. India Tour – the Achievers Dialogues are targeted at prospective students, showcasing to them the ‘art of the possible’ with a UK education. Universities can exhibit, leverage branding opportunities and nominate alumni / representatives to participate in key discussions.

3. India UK Education Conference – the conference provides a strategic platform for leaders in the UK and Indian HE sectors to interact with each other, students, alumni and those that support international HE. It provides a platform for universities in both countries to explore collaboration opportunities and enables the sharing of knowledge and leading practice to shape the future of international education. Thematic areas such as the skills agenda, employability, student outcomes, and transnational education will be explored through a series of plenaries, breakouts and keynotes.
