Network and forge partnerships with local entrepreneurs, private and public organisations and business industry leaders

The British Council is supporting MaGIC Entrepreneurial Nation (E-Nation) Symposium. There are various sessions planned for the symposium: forum, panel discussions, workshops, mentoring sessions & exhibitions. The E-Nation Symposium is a 4-day entrepreneurship symposium to connect aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, ecosystem influencers and industry leaders with the access and exchange necessary to stimulate and facilitate the spirit of entrepreneurship through creativity, innovation and social impact in Malaysia.

UK HEIs who are in Malaysia on the dates of the symposium are invited to attend and stand the chance to network with:

  • Entrepreneurs & social entrepreneurs
  • Startups and SMEs
  • Ministry of Entrepreneur Development (MED)
  • Students at Undergraduate level, seeking for job placements and Postgraduate opportunities
  • Private and public sector players such as MAXIS, Linkedin, Axiata, Media Prima and more
  • Government agencies such as CENDANA, MaGIC, MDEC and more
  • Local education institutions such as UM, UKM, Taylor's University and more

Other benefits:

a. Forge partnerships and meaningful relationships with local industry players, which may include industry linkage, event partnership and more. 

b. Learn about the entrepeneurship sector in Malaysia, including the HEIs' roles in cultivating entrepreneurship in Malaysia.

Who should attend (suggestions only):

a. Team members from the Partnership department

b. Team members from the entrepreneurship-related faculties

Interested UK HEIs will be given 2 free tickets (first-come-first-serve basis)
