Malaysia: Private healthcare college seeking partners

An established private healthcare college in Malaysia is seeking partnerships with UK institutions in the areas of health sciences. The college is open to any model of collaborations, which may include fully-franchised (3+0), partly franchised (2+1) and articulation agreements.

They are looking for a UK partner to deliver fully-franchised (either 3+0 or 2+1) programmes in:

  • Physiotherapy
  • Biomedical Science
  • Healthcare Management

In addition to that, they are also able partner UK institutions which might be interested to deliver allied health-related short courses. The college is a HRDF registered center and would be able to deliver training for the workforce in the industry.

The college currently offers courses related to Nursing and Allied Health Sciences in areas such as:

  • Renal, Oncology, Critical Care and Peri-optive nursing
  • Physiotherapy
  • Healthcare Service
  • Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Trauma and Emergency Care

The college also offers short courses in the areas of:

  • CPR and First Aid
  • Basic Healthcare

The college is a part of a larger healthcare group of companies with a number of affiliate private hospitals in Malaysia and Indonesia. The college's courses are certified ISO 9001:2008, and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
