Institution’s Background

The institution was founded 42 years ago (in 1975) in Johor Bahru, offering an Advanced Studies Programme. In 1990, it was upgraded to a College status, and subsequently received its University College status in 2012.

Its new campus was located in the Skudai area of Johor Bahru, Malaysia, an area within the Iskandar Malaysia Economic Zone. Currently, Southern UC has a student population of approximately 10,000 and 7 faculties within the campus which includes:
