Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages seeks UK partners for joint institute

Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages (HQUFL) is looking for a UK partner to develop a joint institute in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management and Marketing in the model of ‘3+1’ or ‘4+0’.  

Students will be issued with bachelor’s degrees from both HQUFL and the UK partner university upon completing the course.

Benefits for the UK partners
This is an opportunity for the selected UK partners to establish long-term partnerships with a strong private university in North East China. The UK partner will receive 6,000 RMB per student per year during their study at HQUFL in China. Students will pay tuition fees directly to the UK partners for the fourth year if they study in the UK. It is estimated that at least half of the students (about 130) will go to study in the UK in the fourth year.

Area of responsibility:
Each party shall appoint one person as the dean of the joint institute, and set up a joint managerial committee together. (Further details to be discussed)

About Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages 

Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages is located in Changchun, the capital city of Jilin province, China.  In 2003, HQUFL was accredited by the Ministry of Education to offer undergraduate courses, and hence, became the first private four-year foreign language institute to issue bachelor’s degrees in China. 30 undergraduate programs and 4 master programs are offered at HQUFL, covering four disciplines; humanities, economics, management and education.. HQUFL has about 10000 students as well as 800 faculty and staff.
