Japanese high school seeks an ELT provider for summer programme in the UK

A private high school in Southern Japan is seeking a partner English language school in the UK to host a group of their students for a 2-week summer programme in August 2019. If this is successfully completed, the school would like to continue sending students to the same language school in the UK each summer.

- 10 - 15 students are expected to participate, aged 15 and 16
- 1 - 2 teacher(s) will accompany the group of students to the UK as the group leader(s)
- Preferred period/duration: 3 - 17 August 2019 or 10 - 24 August 2019 (2 weeks)
- Preferred Programme Content: Students’ English proficiency level may vary. Classes in the morning, preferably mixed with students from other countries, followed by group activities (cultural experiences, excursions, etc.) in the afternoon each day. The accompanying teacher(s) will take adult classes in the morning if available, and will join their students to participate in group activities in the afternoon each day.
- Preferred Mode of Accommodation: Either home stay with host families or a hall of residence, for both students and teacher(s).
- Budget: Preferably 1,000 GBP per person for the whole programme including accommodation, meals (if not all) and airport pick-up and drop-off.

Please note an administration fee of £300 will be charged to the successful ELT provider who wins this contract, to cover British Council's staff time costs in identifying this opportunity and building the relationship with the local school.

We will contact to inform you by 26 February of the name of this Japanese high school. At the same time, we will share the proposal submitted by you with the high school and ask its representative to get in touch with you by the end of March 2019.
