The British Council will run a series of career development workshops in the UK from 9 - 14 November 2015. Based on the successes from past years, the British Council China will hold five workshop sessions this year, including mini job fairs in Edinburgh, Manchester, Cambridge, Oxford and London. These workshops will give Chinese students an insight into the current job market in China and practical guidance on job hunting and career development.

This year we have teamed up with Highway Career Services Co., Ltd, a professional overseas talent career service company. Inviting well-known businesses to take part in these events will allow Chinese students based overseas to receive professional advice from senior HR specialists, to gain first-hand recruitment information from businesses and to learn about the best opportunities for career development. The invited HR specialists and representatives from large Chinese enterprises will also discuss the current job market in China, the recruitment process and provide tips on succeeding in the most popular and competitive industries. During our events, students will have the opportunity to talk face-to-face with our specialists and ask any questions they have about finding employment in China and their career development.

These events are open to all Chinese students studying in the UK. However, due to site restrictions and safety concerns, students wishing to take part should register using the link provided below.
