The British Council Hong Kong would like to invite your institution to participate in the British Council’s Alumni Gala Dinner to be held at the Island Shangri-La Hong Kong on the evening of Wednesday 7 November 2012.

The Alumni Gala Dinner is the highlight of the British Council’s calendar in Hong Kong, attracting leaders in education, government and business.  Each year the event features a particular theme. This year, the theme is design, celebrating Hong Kong's Year of Design and the UK's education leadership in design.

The Alumni Gala Dinner is an opportunity to highlight your institution’s position in and contribution to art and design education to over 300 VIP guests and media.  Your participation may take the form of a showcase or performance.  Examples of current opportunities include:

• Performance on fashion/design/creative arts programmes
• Showcase featuring art pieces designed by UK Alumni, amongst other UK and Hong Kong up-and-coming designers
• Exhibition of student works
• Presentation by celebrity alumni
• Seminars on fashion/design/creative arts programmes
