Now in its sixth edition, we are pleased to inform you that British Council Hong Kong will be producing the updated Guide to UK Qualifications in Hong Kong for 2014/15.

The Guide aims to achieve several objectives:

1. To help students in Hong Kong to better understand the study opportunities offered by local institutions that lead to UK qualifications;
2. To increase awareness among potential students of the quality and types of courses available in Hong Kong; and
3. To assist the UK and local providers to reach out to potential students.

The TNE market in Hong Kong is substantial and growing, with the number of students studying UK TNE courses around 31,000 students. This year’s Guide will therefore continue to be a much sought after publication, and an essential guide for students looking for courses.

The initial print run will be 11,000 copies, supported by a dedicated advertising campaign, to be distributed by:

• British Council channels such as exhibitions, seminars and other events, and upon student request
• Local operators, each receiving an initial limit of 50 copies each
• Secondary school career offices.

In addition an online version will reach around 9,000 readers, meaning an overall reach of 20,000. The online version will be promoted via the British Council e-newsletter and Direct Marketing to opted-in students on British Council’s marketing database.
