Guangxi University is a 211 university located in Nanning and was established in October 1928.
The university offers 70 undergraduate programs, 80 graduate programs (including M.B.A. program and M.E program) and 6 doctoral programs. The present enrolment of 24,205 students include 181 PhD students, 4,145 master students and 19,879 undergraduates.
The university has developed research partnership with over universities or research institutions in over 28 countries. It also has long-term joint research programmes with Western Michigan University US, Gifu University and Mie University in Japan.
Guangxi University at present has no established joint programmes with foreign universities.

Guangxi University hopes to establish a joint programme as below:

• Level of joint programs: joint PhD programme
• Cooperation model: Three years in China, one year in the UK
