Express your interest to join our Outstanding Women campaign in 2020

'Outstanding Women - Far From Home' is a digital campaign that has been created to raise awareness of equality and inclusion of women by promoting achievements of women that have studied or are currently studying or running research programmes in the UK.

Our aim is to inspire girls and women exposed to this campaign with examples of successful women in any subject of their professional career, leading to International Women’s Day celebration on March 8th.

Each participating university will be able to promote its nominated women’s achievements to students across LATAM and to counselors in the US and Canada.

By submitting an expression of interest to be part of the campaign and nominate a current or former student, or current academic whose research area or career success is notable. Ideally webinars will be presented directly by the nominated women, and can take the form of a presentation of their research, studies and any subsequent work or career success. The women can be of any nationality – although a preference is for them to come from Latin America, the USA or Canada.

Each bundle costs £1,500 to be promoted across all markets, and includes:

  • Participation on a webinar/lecture per day starting March 2nd, with 100% of the time given to the participating university, with just a short intro from the British Council.
  • Two e-shots per week to promote the webinars and presentings UK institutions
  • Paid social media promotion of webinar and participating UKIs
  • One registration page for each webinar with space for UK institutions presenting
  • Publishing of nominated women’s profile on a digital hosting platform.

Content will be promoted in: Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Canada and the United States.
