Opportunity: Hunan Normal University seeks UK partners to establish a joint programme/joint institute in the fields of Engineering, Science and Arts

Hunan Normal University (HNNU) is seeking UK partners interested in establishing a Ministry of Education approved transnational education joint undergraduate and doctoral programme for Engineering, Science and Arts. The undergraduate joint program would be in a 3+1 format, and the model for the joint doctoral programme would be open for discussion. Eligible students will get two degrees, one from HNNU and from the UK partner institution.

Opportunity: UK institutions invited to submit applications for the British Business Award 2022 – UK-Malaysia Education Institutional Partnership Award

The British Malaysia Chamber of Commerce has recently announced the Business Excellence Awards 2022. The awards include the UK Malaysia-Education Institutional Partnership Award. This will recognise a UK higher or further education institution that has partnered with Malaysian organisation/s to deliver significant impact through joint venture collaboration and synergies.

Opportunity: UK-Malaysia Institutional Partnership Grant: Women in Sports Leadership Call for joint proposals from UK universities in West Midlands (lead applicant)

The British Council Malaysia has launched the UK-Malaysia Institutional Partnership grant for women in sports leadership. This is in line with the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games that ‘puts women's and para sport centre stage’ and will be a part of the Going Global Partnerships Programme. One grant of GBP 30,000 will be awarded to a higher education institution from West Midlands which has a proven track record in sports development, especially in the area of women in leadership, working in partnership with a Malaysian university on a joint initiative to enhance the equal representation of women at leadership levels of the sports industry. Opportunity: Tender Opportunity for research into digital offers and trends within English teacher online Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in ASEAN region

The British Council is inviting interest from an experienced research team to conduct a two-phased landscape review and needs analysis covering digital offers and trends within English teacher online Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in ASEAN.

Opportunity: Partner with Kasetsart University, one of Thailand’s public institutions, in delivering an English pre-sessional course

Kasetsart University (KU) is establishing a new international institution in Bang Khen and will offer full time degree programmes and non-degree programmes. The new institution plans on becoming a pre-sessional English programme provider in Thailand, with an aim to make studying at UK tertiary education institutions more affordable to students from Thailand in receipt of conditional offers from these institutions.
