Opportunity: British Council Indonesia Call for Proposals (RFP) to work on ‘Mapping University Language Centres’ in Indonesia

The British Council Indonesia is looking for a research team consisting of academics from UK and Indonesia to conduct ‘Mapping of University Language Centres in Indonesia’. The research aims to fully understand and capture the current role and provisions of English (GE) and Academic English (EAP), and teacher training, provided by English Language Study Centres in Indonesian higher education institutions. Opportunity: Scholarship opportunity to promote to UK students - Study in Brunei with the government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship to foreign students for 2022-2023 academic year

UK institutions are invited to share the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship opportunity with their student networks. The scholarship is currently open for application to undertake a diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate degree at one of five institutions: Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) or Politeknik Brunei (PB). Opportunity: UK institutions invited to submit applications for the British Business Awards 2022 – UK-Malaysia Education Institutional Partnership Award

The British Malaysia Chamber of Commerce has recently announced the Business Excellence Awards 2022. The awards include the UK Malaysia-Education Institutional Partnership Award. This will recognise a UK higher or further education institution that has partnered with Malaysian organisation/s to deliver significant impact through joint venture collaboration and synergies. Opportunity: Connect with your alumni and expand your professional network in Malaysia at the 2021-22 study UK alumni awards ceremony

The Malaysia Study UK Alumni Awards 2020-22 will be held on 17 March 2022 at Kuala Lumpur. The awards will recognise and honour outstanding achievements by alumni of UK higher education institutions. The event provides an excellent opportunity for institutions to engage with their alumni and with Malaysian partners to grow professional networks in Malaysia. Opportunity: UK-Malaysia Institutional Partnership Grant: Women in Sports Leadership Call for joint proposals from UK universities in West Midlands (lead applicant)

The British Council Malaysia has launched the UK-Malaysia Institutional Partnership grant for women in sports leadership. This is in line with the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games that ‘puts women's and para sport centre stage’ and will be a part of the Going Global Partnerships Programme. One grant of GBP 30,000 will be awarded to a higher education institution from West Midlands which has a proven track record in sports development, especially in the area of women in leadership, working in partnership with a Malaysian university on a joint initiative to enhance the equal representation of women at the leadership levels of the sports industry.
