The Professional and Organizational Development Network of Thailand (ThaiPOD) is organising an online academic forum on “Foresight in Thai Higher Education: The Next Move” for 24–25 March 2022.

We are looking for a keynote speaker from a UK educational institution to give a presentation at “Foresight in Higher Education: The Next Move” scheduled for 25 March 2022 at 07.15–08.45 hrs (UK time). The main objective of the forum session is to share an outside-in perspective and emphasise the need for universities to be closely related to the changing world and key global issues. 

The session will take place on 25 March 2022 at 07.15–08.45 hrs (UK time) via Zoom.

About the conference

The aim of the conference is to raise awareness and gain the outside-in views of academics and administrators on the importance of universities in the changing global environment. It is hoped this conference will trigger ideas and inspire educational institutions to sharpen and align their strategic actions with the new chapter in world movement. We need to think about the direction of “Future Education” after the pandemic and examine the various diverse contexts and how best to encourage our learners to acquire the new skills necessary for the future.

Thai university executives and faculty members will participate in the conference. The programme consists of oral presentations, workshops, and panel discussions, allowing participants the opportunity to share experiences, perspectives, and inspirational learning practices.

How to volunteer to speak

Potential speakers should please complete the application form in the link below by Friday 25 February 2022 at 17.00 hrs (UK time). The speaker will be selected according to their profile, experience, and the relevance of the proposed topic.
