The British Council is working in partnership with the Canadian Independent School Counsellors Association (CISCA) to offer UK universities a unique opportunity to take part in CISCA’s bi-annual conference taking place at the end of April 2014.

The conference brings private and independent school counsellors from across Canada together once every two years to network and discuss issues of common interest.  CISCA expects around 75 school counsellors to attend this April.

UK universities are invited to:

1. Co-host a networking breakfast for CISCA conference delegates on the morning of Monday 28 April.  The breakfast will include a Q&A panel of participating universities.  Conference delegates will have the opportunity to submit questions for the panel in advance.
2. Take part in an EducationUK student fair for secondary school students from private schools in Winnipeg on the afternoon of Monday 28 April.  This is a unique opportunity to meet with students from a Canadian city most UK universities have never visited.
