China Education Expo 2013 and advertising opportunity

The deadline for the China Education Expo 2013 is fast approaching. Applications will close on 10 September 2013.

Organised by the China Education Association for International Exchanges (CEAIE), the expo will take place from 2 to 13 November 2013 in five cities across China: Beijing, Xi’an, Wuhan, Shanghai and Chengdu.

The Exhibition provides a great platform to present the UK’s high quality educational institutions. Fairlink Exhibition Services Ltd is responsible for the registration process and managing logistical arrangements for the exhibition for each city.

Booth availability
There are a limited number of booths reserved for UK universities, please see the table below for information regarding the cost and booth availability.

Advertise your institution in the UK Pavilion Exhibitor’s Guide

Advertise your institution with a one page feature which will be printed in 13,000 copies of the exhibitor’s guide and distributed to guests who visit the UK Pavilion.

Please note, there is only one feature page available for each city.

Cost for advertising in each city:
Beijing and Shanghai: GBP 250
Xi’an, Wuhan and Chengdu: GBP 150

Supporting Activities

Innovation is GREAT Zone - In line with the ongoing GREAT Campaign, at this year’s Education Expo the British Council China will highlight the UK’s strengths in science and technology courses. Chinese stakeholders, partners, media and the general public will be able to experience the UK’s excellence in this area at a dedicated Innovation is GREAT Zone at the exhibitions in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu.

The Innovation is GREAT Zone will be an interactive area where:

  • Institutions can display work by students, academics and alumni
  • Visitors can watch videos from institutions showing their work in the field of science and technology
  • Visitors have the chance to learn about successful alumni and the courses on offer via a posters prepared by institutions.
  • Alumni can give live demonstrations and provide one-on-one advice to prospective students.
