Call for interest: UK Summer School competition 2014

About the competition

About 10,000 Hong Kong students are currently enrolled at UK universities. The links between HK and the UK are very strong, and UK universities continue to attract some of the best Hong Kong students.

British Council works with UK HE institutions to continue to position the UK as an attractive study destination. To this end, an initiative, UK Summer School competition, will be launched in 2014 to add to the ways British Council can support this ambition.

The competition will allow five Hong Kong school-leavers to attend a Summer School in the UK in the period before they take up their studies in Hong Kong or overseas. The competition will take the form of a simple essay competition, judged by some high profile Hong Kong personalities.
