British Council school partner trip to the UK: opportunities to develop a link with a leading school in Thailand: 13-17 October 2014

British Council Thailand is organising a trip for a group of 10 management staff of a leading school in Thailand to visit UK schools and colleges. We would like to open this opportunity for UK independent schools, sixth form colleges, and independent colleges to host this visit.

It will be a good opportunity to build relationships and develop collaborations with the school, including sending students from Thailand to study for a semester at a UK school. In addition, there is also an opportunity to promote a short term English course, as Thai schools organise a trip for their students every year to study a short-term English course in the UK.

Boarding schools, sixth form colleges or independent colleges interested in hosting this group of a management team of a Thai school, please contact uraiwan.samolee@britishcouncil.or.th for further information by 5th June 2014.

There will be the British Council management fee of £300 plus VAT/institution in managing and coordinating the programme. The British Council will also accompany the management staff in this visit. Applications will be treated on a first come first served basis and with consultation with the Thai school.
