Bolashaq Presidential Scholarship in 2021/22: New Confirmed List of Institutions, Overview of Changes & Available Opportunities

We would like to invite UK institution to take part in a webinar about the Bolashaq Presidential Scholarship for an opportunity to hear about the latest updates in the scholarship scheme and expected further developments.

The aim of the webinar is to present to the UK education sector the latest updates from Bolashaq and to allow UK HEIs to learn about the scholarship programme's objectives and plans for the near future.

Over the course of the webinar, the Vice-President for the Centre for International Programmes, Daniyar Mukitanov, will be giving first-hand information on the following:

  • what the new list is and which institutions it includes;
  • the number of scholarships that are being considered for this year;
  • what UK institutions should be aware of in order to be included in the list of approved institutions in the coming years;
  • the internship programme, a way for "institutions not included in the list" to recruit via Bolashaq;
  • changes to the programme from the government’s perspective and the future shape of the programme;

This webinar will be led by the newly appointed Vice-President Daniyar Mukitanov, who was previously Head of Education and Society British Council Kazakhstan. Mr. Mukitanov has extensive experience in leading education and social projects, and is very familiar with the UK education sector.  The webinar will allow plenty of time for UK education providers to ask questions.
