Are you interested in the emerging markets of South East Asia? Become part of the Agents and School Counsellors’ Fam Trip March 2019 and reach out to markets in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam

Timing of the trip: 25–29 March 2019

The British Council is organising its first ever Agents and School Counsellors’ Fam Trip to the UK between 25 and 29 March 2019 for agents and counsellors from emerging markets: Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. The Fam Trip will provide a unique opportunity for UK institutions to introduce agents to the teaching methods used on campus, institutional environment, and other facilities, including accommodation. Around six to eight agents will be included in the group, selected on the basis of their commitment to return home and promote both the UK and institution.

The study abroad market is growing in many South East Asian countries. Among the emerging markets, Vietnam is considered to be well-established with nearly 3,000 students going to study in the UK each year while the other three countries: Cambodia, Lao, and Myanmar, have started to grow, driven by their expanding economies and increasing demand from parents and students.

Participation fee

The participation fee is £1,250 plus VAT. This will include accommodation in the UK, domestic travel costs for agents and counsellors, and a British Council management fee for co-coordinating and managing the programme.
