The National Institute of Design (NID), in Ahmedabad, India, is now receiving entries for the seventh edition of its Alpavirama International Youth Film Festival. 

This international festival of short films, documentaries and audio pieces has celebrated the work of young filmmakers across the globe since 2011.

Taking place from 15 to 19 October, this year's theme is ‘Reflected Realities’: a portrait of reality through the lens of young filmmakers across the globe.

The competition is open to filmmakers under 30, and is encouraging UK students to apply. We encourage you to share this opportunity with your students.

The festival is accepting entries until 25 May.
