Aiqi Football College seeks UK partner for annual Summer Camps in the UK

The Aiqi Football College is seeking a UK partner to host summer camps focused on football skills and football culture.

The camps should be two to three weeks in length and held on an annual basis starting from August 2016. The students are 9 to 17 years old. The camp should provide Chinese students with an international study environment and deliver intensive courses with small groups of no more than 25 students.

By attending the camp, students should get a real understanding and experience of UK football culture and the English Premier League.

 

Areas of responsibilities for the two collaborating parties

Services provided by UK partner

The football-themed camps should include:

  • two to three weeks of tuition (including football skills practice, English Language learning and gaining an understanding of western culture)
  • accommodation at local host families or student halls
  • three meals a day
  • extra-curricular activities and cultural sightseeing, including watching at least two football matches
  • the opportunity to practice football with UK students or other international students
  • transport to and from the airport
  • a letter of invitation for to support the visa application process
  • a certificate of completion at the end of the summer camp.

 

Services provided by Aiqi Football College

The responsibilities of Aiqi Football College are as follows:

  • undertake all promotion and recruitment of students in China
  • provide two supervisors to assist all students throughout the summer camp
  • arrange students’ UK visa applications and international ticket booking
  • provide students with guidance before they leave for the UK.

 

Brief introduction of Aiqi Football College

Founded in June 2014 and based in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, the Aiqi Football College provides after-school football training to more than 500 students from Guangzhou. The Aiqi Football College is one of the member institutions of the Guangzhou Municipal Football Association. The College has invited professional community football coaches from Brazil to deliver short-term trainings in the past, which were extremely popular among students. The College is rapidly expanding and as of March 2016 has built football fields in more than six cities in China and is experiencing a significant growth in student numbers.

Please provide a one-page introduction of your organisation and a quotation for a two-week camp for a group of 25 students, covering all costs such as tuition, activities, accommodation, meals, transport and a two-day weekend extra-curricular activities.

The British Council will charge a £1,000 management fee as a service commission, which is payable by the proposal winner.
