UK education institutes are welcome to exhibit their designs at the annual Shenzhen Design Week’s inaugural Expo which will take place from 19 – 22 April 2019.

Shenzhen Design Week (SZDW) runs for ten days across the city and is an international platform for the global design industry to recognise and reward designers with creativity, vision and influence. The Expo is a newly launched part of the week and will run for three days, focussing on the separate theme of ‘Design Home’ at the city’s Convention Centre.

Shenzhen Design Week has grown year-on-year and in 2019, more than 150,000 are expected to walk through the doors. The festival attracts innovators and leaders from the design community and has quickly become a hallmark in the industry calendar.

This year is a great chance for the UK’s institutional involvement as London has been named the festival’s Guest City. The Expo is a platform for design-related product to be displayed and traded and is dedicated to promoting market ideas, launching prototypes and business marketing.

Available booth sizes:

·         Standard (9 sqm) - GBP1400 (Corner booths require an extra 10 per cent charge)

·         Premium (36 sqm) - GBP140/sqm

·         Prime (72 sqm) - GBP125/sqm

Alongside showcasing at the Expo, exhibitors will appear on theme walls, catalogues, the official website and other communication platforms. Exhibitors will receive five passes to major events throughout the Design Week, including the opening ceremony and awards presentation.

Shipping, installation and dismantling will be at the expense of the exhibitor.
