The UK government has presented a proposal for the recognition of the UK’s one-year master’s degree by the Indian government, to the Union HRD ministry following an agreement for degree recognition for a Master’s programme between India and France. Prime Minister Modi was on a three-country tour to Europe (including the UK) which would open avenues for bilateral meetings to include discussions for mutual benefit on several areas including education.
