East Asia Schools Mission 2021-22: Thailand International School Roadshow

UK higher education institutions are invited to participate in the East Asia Schools Mission 2021-22. The mission is tailored to provide UK higher education institutions with a direct platform to target international school students, promote their offering to prospective undergraduate students, and engage with key counsellors in Hong Kong and Thailand.

The first tour will be taking place in Hong Kong on 13 – 17 September 2021 and follow by The Thailand International School Tour (blended) in January/February 2022 .

*Please note that each event requires a separate registration and has a separate £1300 +VAT fee.

Thailand International School Roadshow (Blended)

The Schools Blended Tour (combination of F2F and online activities) is designed to enable UK universities to talk to prospective students despite current travel restrictions, raise their institution's profile and build or strengthen links and relationships with international schools in Thailand.

Event structure

The International Schools Blended Tour is scheduled to take place in 4-5 schools in Bangkok and Chiang Mai over a week.
UK institutions can attend the tour virtually from the UK or physically if being based in Thailand. No agents are allowed to attend this event.
A laptop will be prepared for each UK institution to talk to prospective students.
UK alumni or event support staff will be provided at each table to facilitate students, collect student information, and provide further information.
Participating UK institutions can do a seminar at each school. This opportunity will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
A soft copy of an information booklet which includes profiles of all participating UK institutions will be sent to students in advance to prepare and improve their understanding about participating UK institutions and make the most of participating in the fair.

This model has been successfully used in Vietnam in April 2021 and is planned to roll out for the first time in Thailand in January / February 2022. However, this will depend on the current situation of Covid-19 pandemic in Thailand. Alternatively, the event has to be shifted to be virtually. Events details are to be communicated to UK institutions by end of October 2021.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation fees will be charged for withdrawal from this event, as of the date of receipt of notice of withdrawal:

- 50 per cent of the full exhibition cost for withdrawals received on or after 23 November 2021

- 100 per cent of the full exhibition cost for withdrawals received on or after 30 November 2021

How to apply

A total of 15 places are available for this campaign and applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. The deadline for applications is expected to be on Tuesday 30 November 2021.
