SIEM Bangladesh organised a Remote Marketing Campaign at Independent University Bangladesh on 10 June 2015, one of the renowned private universities in Bangladesh on behalf of two UK Institutions in Dhaka. Run for the first time, this campaign was very successful and proved to be an effective marketing plan. The aim of the campaign was to do roadshows in different O/A Level schools / a private university on behalf of the UK Institution/s in Dhaka. British Council Bangladesh conducted this event for two UK institutions in one local renowned institution/s. UK Institutions did Power Point Presentation, distributed flyers/handouts/ prospectuses, displayed pop-up banner/ X-Stand banner and sent follow up email shot to the participants via British Council and British Council re-directed further queries to the institution. In addition to that UK institution also did Follow up event: Group counselling via Skype. British Council facilitated this follow up group counselling event through Skype.
This campaign was very cost effective as the UK delegate was not required to travel to Bangladesh and could reach to very targeted and specific student group via trusted source i.e. British Council.
