On the 25th, 26th and 28th February 2014, the British Council in Nepal held exhibitions in Kathmandu and Pokhara, with 26 participating UK institutions in attendance.
The event again proved hugely popular with a total of 4,895 visitors across the three days (a significant increase on the 2013 exhibition). The visitors focus was again primarily on Undergraduate/Postgraduate courses, particularly with a focus on Business and Management/Finance/MBAs, although many other subjects and courses were also in demand. The predominantly Male audience (67%), stated that the exhibition “provided the information they were looking for” and that many would subsequently “be making an application to study in the UK”.
