A group of eight UK universities visited eight schools offering the IB curriculum in Mumbai from 8 – 11 January 2013. The focus of the mission was brand building and building a platform for Undergraduate recruitment for UK Institutions. The aim of the mission was to provide an opportunity for UK institutions to interact with potential students who are interested in studying abroad but also network with faculty members scoping for future potential links.
Mumbai city: International schools have seen a strong emergence over the last couple of years in the metro cities of India. Mumbai harbours a chain of the finest schools in India offering the IB and the IGCSE curriculum. International schools are focusing less on a wholly UK or US curriculum and instead delivering a more international curriculum; noticeable is the increased use of the IB and IGCSE.
