In its fifth year, the Broadening Horizons series explores the drivers and barriers relating to the study abroad of UK students. The latest report, Broadening Horizons 2017: Addressing the needs of a new generation examines how political and economic shifts, and disruptive technologies, are influencing UK students’ overseas study ambitions and perceptions, with findings indicating the importance of addressing prospective students changing views. 

The latest Broadening Horizons compares the motivations driving interest in study abroad for today’s students, together with the perceived obstacles, to previous research findings in the series.
