Education UK Exhibition Oman October 2013 - Report

This was the first British Council exhibition in Oman and a number of satisfactory outcomes were delivered, with the Market briefing and VIP reception proving hugely popular and well attended. Many visitors requested that the Salalah event be extended by another day, such was the interest it generated.

However, whilst there were many positives outcomes, there were also several challenges. Some issues encountered were entirely out of our hands (Obtaining the necessary licence to host a exhibition), however others were entirely avoidable (Poor venue choice in Muscat, too little information regarding the Mini-Fairs).

Following exhibitor feedback some necessary changes and improvements have already been made in time for next years event. Lessons have been learned, and future exhibitions can only improve.
