During the preparation for this year’s exhibition, we experienced some difficulty with recruitment which was assumed to be caused by delegates’ disappointment at the lower number of visitors that attended the 2011 exhibition and by the competition of our trained agents, however we still managed to meet our target number of institutions. There were also concerns that our exhibition might be badly affected by the global and domestic sluggish economy and the fact that an agents’ fair was to be held three weeks before ours. With its success, however, the exhibition reminded us of a proverb saying all is well that ends well. The difficulty turned to a sweet memory and the concerns to only pre-occupied solicitude.

With an increase of 40.3% on the last year’s visitor figures, we succeeded in attracting 2,405, which is actually higher in number than that of 2010. This is a significant and remarkable improvement in our overseas study market in consideration of a continuing decrease of the number of visitors over previous years. With newly restored confidence in the stability and firmness of our market and the people’s aspiration for study abroad we have seen potential for further growth.
