The Education UK exhibition was held on 15-16th August in order to coincide with UCAS clearing, with around 70 institutions exhibiting.  This is the second most preferred exhibition date for Hong Kong summer exhibition, according to the exhibitors’ survey we conducted last year.
The most preferred option was to have it on 19 -20 July. We duly responded to this need by hosting our first mini-exhibition in July this year.

During the two days over 6,700 visitors attended.  Besides universities chasing undergraduate enrolments, seven independent schools and colleges, as well as one further education college reported a steady stream of enquiries both for this year and next.  The visitors not only had an opportunity to speak with institutions, they were also informed on a range of related topics, such as how to choose the right course, writing personal statements, preparing for IELTS, and employability, with seminars delivered by institution, British Council and other stakeholders on both days.

The event attracted extensive media coverage. It was reported positively in six newspapers and ten online articles. Most of the coverage highlighted the 8% increase in UCAS application this year, and also highlighted some of the benefits of studying in the UK
