Another successful year for EDUKEX in Bahrain with unparalleled number of visitors reached 1200 visitors over the 1.5 days. 32 UK institutions participated in EDUKEX 2012 offering a wide range of undergraduate, post-graduate, vocational and English courses. While Business studies and engineering continue to remain most popular, many young Bahrainis seek medicine courses in the UK. The exhibition received positive feedback from participants emphasizing good arrangement and setup. In line with Bahrain economic vision 2030, the Government has clear direction toward investing on young Bahrainis academic development. The Ministry of Education has announced more than 2000 local and international scholarships for 2012 and another highly regarded scholarship is Crown prince international scholarship program with 10 fully funded international scholarships every year so we expect many partnership opportunities for UK institutions with government and private institutions to arise in the future.
