British Council Azerbaijan hosted its 7th Education UK exhibition on 22-23 October 2016 in Baku.

Up to 1200 people visited the two day exhibition conducted with the participation of the UK universities, schools and colleges. Two mini fairs organized a day before the exhibition on 22 October at the International School of Azerbaijan and the British School. Mini Fairs were open for the HEIs only and attended by up to 250 students. The British School also involved students of two more private schools to the mini fair. The majority of the UK exhibitors were satisfied with the quality of students attending the mini fairs; they consider this as a great opportunity to meet with direct target groups with face to face meetings.

In the feedback forms and post-event discussions all parts shared the same views that closer collaboration relations needs to be developed between the UK educational institutions, local agents and the British Council to keep the UK as a top study destination in the market. More comments from the exhibitors are collected in the post-event report. The report also consist key statistics of the event, exhibitor and visitor feedback analysis, marketing activities description and other activities arranged during the exhibition, also few useful recommendations have been included for the UK educational institutions to be considered for further work in Azerbaijan.

Our next exhibition in Baku will be on 11 March 2016 and it’s open for all educational institutions of the UK. Registration is now open for the event.
