SIEM India introduced a range of digital services last year and executed various digital promotional activities on multiple platforms to reach out to online audiences interested in studying in the UK. We used two forms of digital media –
- Paid Media: Includes Facebook advertising, display advertising, search engine marketing (Google Search and Google Display Network)
- Owned Media: Includes Education UK Facebook page, British Council India (@inBritish) Twitter handle and Education UK India website
We ran multiple campaigns covering various aspects of UK education including promotion of Education UK exhibitions, Education UK Scholarship Guide, awareness campaign for GREAT scholarships, live tweeting from exhibition venues and GREAT Talks, among others.
With these campaigns we reached over 15 million users who were interested in studying in the UK. We achieved this extensive reach by selecting appropriate digital advertising channels and developing relevant and high-quality content and communications.
In order to help UK institutions reach prospective students more effectively, we introduced the following digital marketing services:
- Sponsored posts on Education UK Facebook page
- E-mail shots – Students and school counsellors
- Display advertising (Third party digital advertising)
- Advertorials on Education UK India website
In 2015-16, we delivered digital marketing campaigns for 15 UK institutions. UK institutions use our digital marketing services to promote specific programs, scholarships or specific offers for Indian students. Through our digital marketing services, we help UK institutions target the most relevant audiences in a cost effective way.
