Zhangzhou Institute of Technology (ZIT) calls for UK institutions for partnership in Zhangzhou, Fujian

Project Introduction
•Level of joint programme: A one or two year top-up programme.
•Cooperation model: A one or two year of top-up programme in Zhangzhou. Graduates shall be given prestigious access to the UK partner university.
•Subject areas: Engineering related subjects including Electronic engineering, Computer networking technology, Food processing technology, Numerical control technology, Architectural engineering etc.
•Other cooperation areas: In addition to cooperation on the top-up programme, ZIT is also willing to cooperate on teacher training and student exchange programmes.

Brief introduction of ZIT
Zhangzhou Institute of Technology is a public university providing vocational education in Fujian. It is run by the government of Zhangzhou. The institute now has a total enrolment of 14,000 students and teaches courses in 66 engineering related subjects. The institute values international exchanges and cooperation and has set up substantial cooperative relationships with related vocational institutes and industrial associations in Canada, German, Singapore and Taiwan (China). ZIT has made great progress in its joint cooperation with its international partners in areas such as education, teacher training, advanced educational concepts, management concepts, curriculum and professional qualifications to promote the running of the institute.

Criteria for potential partner:
•The potential partner needs to be a UK-based university.
•The potential partner needs to provide access for its undergraduate programmes to graduates from the top-up programme.
•Universities with experience in similar programmes will be preferred.
