Xingtai University is seeking UK universities for 3+1 joint programmes in a variety of subject areas. It is also interested in exploring opportunities for teacher training and exchange.

Introduction of Chinese partner

Xingtai University is a comprehensive university founded in 1910. It consists of 18 colleges and departments, offering 76 undergraduate programmes. Today, there are more than 17,000 students along with a faculty of more than 1,200 professors and teachers.

The university is seeking to expand its international offering with 3+1 joint programmes in the following subject areas:
- materials science
- biological sciences
- natural geography and environmental resources
- visual communication design and environmental design
- internet engineering.

Xingtai University has also expressed interest in teacher training and exchange.

Requirements for UK partners

• Contribute one third of programme specifications, including aims and objectives of the programme, delivery methods, assessment methods, prerequisites, intended learning outcomes, module descriptions and reading lists, and teaching obligations in line with TNE regulations.
• Assist in training Xingtai University’s faculty involved in the programme delivery.
• Admit and register Xingtai University students in line with UK Border Agency regulations.
